The bonding and dryer line bonds fibers and dries the web in a single coordinated pass, built for carpets and artificial textiles. It takes a loose fiber web and turns it into a stable, durable material with the strength, elasticity, and softness the product calls for. Carpets, artificial turf, bedding, and upholstery all come off lines like this one.
Hot air does both jobs. Multiple chambers, usually 4 to 10, each act as an independent heating zone, so the temperature and airflow can be tuned along the line to suit different thicknesses and material compositions. Strong circulation and high-volume heating keep the result uniform across the full product width, and closed-loop air circulation holds down running cost and environmental impact.
The line covers working widths from 1,800mm (70 in) up to 5,000mm (200 in). Chamber count runs 4, 6, 8, or 10 for staged bonding and drying, heating capacity reaches 3,000,000 Kcal/h for high-volume output, and air volume goes up to 21,000 m3/h for even heat penetration. The modular build lets it tie into upstream forming equipment and downstream finishing or packing. It is also called a thermal bonding line, hot air bonding line, or carpet backing line.
