Heating Roll

PFA-coated heated cylinder for finishing and thermal bonding, up to 230 C.

Heating Roll

The heating roll is a temperature-controlled rotating cylinder used in the finishing and bonding stages of nonwoven production. Its working surface carries a PFA Teflon coating that lets it apply heat up to 230 C without the fabric sticking or scorching. That non-stick surface is what keeps the finish clean and the roll easy to service.

Operators set and hold the roll temperature directly, so the same machine handles different materials and finishing targets without guesswork. Even heat across the full face of the roll gives consistent surface texture, gloss, and bond strength, which matters as much for hygiene products as it does for automotive linings and filtration media.

Three standard widths cover most line sizes: 2,300mm, 2,800mm, and 3,300mm. The two narrower models run on 76.9 kW motors; the widest steps up to 92.95 kW to keep heat distribution uniform across the larger face. The roll is also known as a hot roller, thermal bonding roller, or heated calendar roll.

Key Features

Non-stick PFA coating

The Teflon surface stops fibers and finished material from adhering to the roll, which cuts product loss and keeps cleaning simple.

Direct temperature control

Roll temperature is set and adjusted up to 230 C to suit different materials and finishing effects.

Even heat across the face

Heat is distributed uniformly along the full width of the roll, giving consistent surface texture and bond strength.

Three working widths

Standard 2,300mm, 2,800mm, and 3,300mm models match a range of line capacities and product sizes.

Less waste and downtime

The non-stick surface and stable heating reduce sticking, scorched fabric, and unplanned stops.
