Dryer

Six-zone hot air dryer with closed-loop circulation for even drying.

Dryer

The dryer pulls moisture out of a wet web by circulating hot air through a chamber built for even flow. Drying the fabric uniformly protects its strength and usability and heads off the usual problems, uneven texture, discoloration, and pockets of residual moisture. On the KS-DR:2400~4500 series, that control is what separates a usable web from a defective one.

The chamber is split into two halves, each divided into three rooms, giving six independent heating zones. Every zone runs on its own temperature control, so operators can tune each section to the material, the moisture profile across the width, and the line speed. That local control prevents overheating and keeps the product intact from zone to zone.

Fans at the top of every room push heated air down and sideways through the chamber. The web rides a central conveyor while air passes through it from the sides and bottom, then the air is drawn back to the top, reheated, and sent through again. This closed loop keeps energy from escaping and holds chamber conditions steady.

The main fan motors are rated 15 kW each, four in total, to move the volume of air the six zones need. Smaller motors from 0.4 kW to 2.2 kW drive the up and down motion and other support systems. The machine is also known as a through-air dryer, thermal oven, or hot air dryer.

Key Features

Six independent heating zones

Two chambers, three rooms each, so drying conditions are set separately in every section.

Closed-loop air circulation

Air is recirculated and reheated after passing through the web, holding energy in and drying consistent.

Even heat distribution

Uniform heat across all zones improves product quality and consistency across the width.

High-volume fans

Four 15 kW fan motors move enough air to keep flow strong through the whole chamber.

Adjustable temperature and speed

Settings adapt to different material types, thicknesses, and production speeds.

Built-in safety

Thermal protection and dust filtration keep the workspace stable and safe.
