Automotive Velour Production Line

KSG supplies automotive velour plants as complete, integrated facilities. The line is engineered so a manufacturer can consistently hit the plush texture, durability, and colorfastness that car interiors demand, with every stage matched from raw fiber to finished fabric.

Production opens at the blending feeder, where different fiber types are combined into a consistent mix that sets the color, texture, and performance of the velour. The mixing tank distributes the blend evenly, down to the smallest batches, and a fine opener teases apart the bundles to build the softness and loft the fabric is known for. The carding machine then forms a continuous web with controlled fiber orientation and density.

A lapper layers the web to the required weight and dimensional stability, and the needle punching machine bonds those layers mechanically, with no adhesives. That mechanical interlock is what gives automotive seat and trim fabric its signature plushness without giving up strength. A side cutter finishes the run at precise widths, maximizing yield and leaving clean edges.
