Filtration Material Production Line

A turnkey line for needle-punched filtration media.

Filtration Material Production Line

KSG designs and builds turnkey plants aimed specifically at filtration media, drawing on decades of process engineering and equipment integration. Each stage is optimized so producers get strong filtration performance and consistent product while meeting strict industry standards and shortening time to market.

The line begins at the blending feeder, where different fiber types are combined into a homogeneous mix. That foundation controls the media properties that matter most, particle retention and flow rate. A mixing tank then disperses the fiber thoroughly to head off clumps and inconsistencies, and a fine opener separates and aligns the fibers to set up clean web formation and the right porosity.

The carding machine lays down a continuous web with controlled density and orientation, a uniformly distributed fiber network being the key to filtration efficiency. A lapper stacks multiple layers of that web to reach the target thickness, and the layering can be customized for different jobs, from air purification to liquid separation. Needle punching mechanically bonds the layers, so the media stays strong and permeable with no adhesives or chemicals. A side cutter finishes it to exact width with clean edges and low waste.

Integrating these stages, KSG delivers filtration plants that pair reliability and high throughput with a partner focused on advancing the technology alongside the customer.

Filtration Material Production Line detail 1

Key Features

Controlled media properties

Accurate blending at the feeder sets particle retention and flow rate from the very first step.

Tunable porosity

Fine opening plus controlled carding density produce the uniform fiber network that filtration efficiency depends on.

Customizable layering

The lapper adjusts layer count and thickness for jobs ranging from air purification to liquid separation.

Chemical-free bonding

Needle punching keeps the media strong and permeable without adhesives or chemical binders.
