Dust Filter

The dust filter removes airborne fiber and dust generated while the card runs. Suction fans, cyclone ducts and mesh plates work together to separate reusable fiber from the fine dust, so clean, recoverable stock goes back into the mix and the workspace stays breathable. It runs alongside the carding machine, so cleaning and recovery happen without a separate stage.

Air is drawn from the points that produce the most debris, inside the card, around roller tips and along the conveyor. It first passes through a cyclone duct, where centrifugal force drops the heavier, reusable fiber out of the stream. A mesh plate then traps the remaining fine dust while letting the larger clean fiber through, which airflow carries straight to the mixing tank or control hopper.

Because it captures fine dust and stray fiber before it can settle, the filter protects downstream machines from clogging and wear, and keeps maintenance on the card and mixing system lighter. Upkeep on the filter itself is simple: inspect the fan motors, clean the mesh plates, and empty the cyclone collector as needed.
