Magnetic Trap

Neodymium magnet unit that strips ferrous debris from the fiber stream.

Magnetic Trap

Fiber coming off upstream processes can carry small metal fragments, and those fragments damage rollers, clog machines and leave defects in the finished fabric. The magnetic trap catches ferrous debris and pulls it out of the stream before it reaches the card, using high-strength neodymium magnets to do it.

The magnets generate a strong enough field to catch even small or weakly magnetic particles, and the unit is built to sit in a continuous feed without interrupting flow. It is normally installed ahead of critical machines such as feed hoppers or openers.

Keeping it working well takes little more than routine inspection and cleaning; clearing collected debris off the magnets before it builds up keeps separation efficiency high. It is a small component, but it does real quality-assurance work for the whole line.

Key Features

Ferrous metal removal

Captures ferrous foreign objects in the fiber stream before they reach the carding stage.

High magnetic strength

Neodymium magnets generate powerful Gauss levels, catching small or weakly magnetic particles.

Continuous-flow compatible

Designed to sit in a continuous feed system without interrupting production.

Built to last

Robust materials hold up in industrial conditions and keep performance steady over time.
