Velour Needle Loom

Raises a soft velour pile on nonwovens using fork needles over a brush bed.

Velour Needle Loom

The velour needle loom is a needle punching machine built to raise a soft, velvety pile on nonwoven fabric. Barbed fork or crown needles push fiber loops through a brush-covered bed plate; as the needles drive fibers against the brush, some are pulled partway through and form a raised pile or looped texture. It is a finishing step that adds softness and visual appeal to products headed for automotive interiors, flooring and decorative uses.

Because penetration and needle type can be controlled across the fabric width, the loom produces either a uniform pile or a patterned one. That covers everything from a plain velvety finish to more deliberate surface effects for technical and decorative textiles. The brush bed supports the web gently, so the surface comes out smooth and mark-free.

Mechanically it is built for precise, high-strength needling: double crank shafts, aluminum alloy needle frames and a brush conveyor system. Circulating oil lubrication and cooling hold operating temperatures steady and reduce wear over long runs. Mark-free stripping releases the web cleanly from the needles, dual cleaning systems keep the brush and machine clean, and a PLC with touch screen lets operators monitor, adjust and save parameters for repeatable production. It is also called a random velour, structuring or pile needleloom depending on the effect.

Key Features

Soft velour pile

Needling against a brush bed forms fiber loops for a velvet texture suited to premium finishes.

Brush bed support

A dense brush base supports the web and protects the surface for smooth, mark-free pile formation.

Directional or random pile

Adjusting needle type, arrangement and parameters produces uniform or random velour textures.

Precision mechanics

Double crank shafts, aluminum alloy needle frames and a brush conveyor give consistent, high-strength needling.

Oil lubrication and cooling

Circulating oil holds temperatures steady, cuts wear and supports extended runs.

Clean stripping and controls

Mark-free stripping and dual cleaning keep it clean; PLC and touch screen give repeatable setup.
