The needle punching machine bonds a layered fiber web mechanically. Thousands of barbed needles punch through the web again and again, dragging fibers into each other until the web becomes a thick, strong fabric, the kind used for automotive interiors, geotextiles, filtration and insulation. No adhesive or heat is needed.
Because these machines run long and hard, cooling matters. Integrated oil coolers hold the oil temperature steady inside the mechanism, which limits heat build-up and the metal expansion that comes with it, and a dedicated oil box design cuts friction and wear on the piston and moving parts so the machine can run longer between services.
The fabric properties are yours to set. Stroke length, RPM and needle density are all adjustable, so you control texture, weight, strength and permeability, and needle penetration depth is tunable to match. Working widths run from 2,800 to 4,500mm, covering a range of fabric sizes. The machine takes both synthetic and natural fiber, including polyester, polypropylene, wool and cotton, with drive systems chosen for efficient power use and safety interlocks for high-speed running.
